Pâtes polymères Cernit

Polymer clay

Easy to work with, Cernit clay is a premium polymer clay that meets all the needs and desires of jewelry makers, miniaturists (culinary, botanical, etc.), as well as artists sculpting characters, figurines, or decorations.

The range consists of 105 colors that can all be mixed to create custom shades. The possibilities are endless.

After sculpting, the creation must be baked in a household oven for a maximum of 30 minutes at 130°C (265°F) to become completely solid and durable over time.

Its properties and advantages are recognized by the most talented artists worldwide:

  • Easy and quick to soften, never dries out
  • 105 colors that do not stain hands or tools
  • Post-baking effects that meet all needs
  • Odorless before, during, and after baking
  • Can be re-baked multiple times without changing color
  • And above all, an incredible and unmatched flexibility after baking

All clays are manufactured in our factory in Belgium, near Liège, allowing us to control the entire production process.

Résine époxy

Epoxy resin

To enhance polymer clay creations or create jewelry and other small objects from scratch, Cernit offers ready-to-use kits for making epoxy resin.

Epoxy resin is composed of two solutions to be mixed (resin and hardener) to obtain a hard and solid solution. It does not require baking; depending on the thickness of the creation, the resin air dries between 24 and 72 hours.

Its main advantages are its incredible durability and crystal-clear transparency, allowing for the incorporation of decorative elements such as pigments, glitters, dried flowers, seashells, etc. Epoxy resin enables the creation of unique and personalized pieces. It can also be colored using Cernit alcohol inks.

The technique is very simple:

  • Step 1: Protect your hands by wearing gloves
  • Step 2: Pour the desired amount of resin into the suitable container
  • Step 3: Add the hardener according to the recommended ratio (=1 part hardener to 2 parts resin)
  • Step 4: Mix the two solutions using the stirring stick

Your resin is ready and can then be poured into the mold of your choice.
All necessary tools (gloves, cup, stirring stick, etc.) are included in our discovery kit.

Once the resin is dry, you can sand your creation to make it shiny or varnish it using the different effect varnishes from the Cernit range.
